My students and I are in a very small space to work. We currently have a mixture of tables and desks, and three teachers working together at the same time. Some tables have whiteboard paint on top, so we can work closely with students who are struggling on a concept. However, one student table has legs that give out and makes the table collapse and students' things go everywhere. Needless to say, we try not to use that table. This is the space where intervention classes happen, from Title I to ESL. We want this space to become ours, where students are actually excited to come to our interventions. These students crave choice and the ability to work in a way that is best for them. We want to create a space where students are comfortable in learning, and can easily interact with each other while having choices in where they want to sit .
