The point of my project is to show students that they have a voice. As we read about Anne Frank, (someone their age), I want them to understand that everyone has a story and we shouldn't judge anyone. Instead we should always be willing to listen to one another and use each other's experiences to live productive lives and try to make the world better by being more informed about the people that are around us. Our differences can make us stronger if we are willing to learn from other another.
The products in my cart include a journal for each student along with writing utensils. The notepads will be used for students to write their finished assignments to combine together as the story of our classroom. Their stories will be used as talking points to making wise decisions throughout their lives and to help them to view the world from someone else's viewpoint.
About my class
