Many of my students IEPs state they must have a text-to-speech option. We are utilizing a lot of online material this year, so headphones will help my students successfully complete these online assignments. Without headphones (text-to-speech), students fall behind and become further discouraged by their "disability". If I can provide them with a set of classroom headphones, I can help nurture their determination and love for learning. If I cannot provide headphones for these students, they will fall further and further behind. These headphones will be a life changing classroom tool for my students.
