I work at a Title I school where 80% of the students are labeled economically disadvantaged and 80% are English Language Learners. Many students were affected by Hurricane Harvey. The school is located in a very diverse area of Houston. Over a dozen different languages are spoken among the students and teachers. In spite of these barriers, we work together as a team to ensure student success. Because of our unyielding work ethic, we are one of the highest performing public schools in the area, district and state.
