Without a doubt, changing from desks that are around 30 years old to collaborative tables will give my students more space to move around, more choices in their seating and the freedom to innovate and collaborate with each other. We need four activities to make this possible.
Instilling a sense of community in our classroom is vital to the success of all our students. Making sure that all students have access to new technology, flexible seating, and collaborative tables will allow our room to progress as our teaching style and our curriculum has changed. It is important that more than just the new schools are provided with these items; we need to update our older schools with the same materials.
