I am a first year teacher working in a Title I school in Fort Worth, Texas. I've been working with students in this district for 5 years (as an intern, inclusion TA and student teacher), and I'm so excited to step foot into my first classroom as a 2nd grade, dual language teacher. A vast majority of students at our school receive free or reduced lunch, and for most of them, school is the only place where they can experience a worry-free environment.
