In our district, students are required to engage in 60+ minutes of our online resource for math. While this resource is highly useful to students, we are restricted to one student computer within my classroom.
Many of our students, especially after Hurricane Harvey, do not have access to technology at home and therefore rely heavily on access to devices within my classroom.
My goal this year is to provide as much access to technology for my 75 students as possible. At this time, I have limited technology in my classroom and incapable of meeting this need. By implementing Amazon Fire Tablets and headphones, students will be able to work at technology stations and meet their 60+ minute online math component each week without fail. I never want lack of education tools to be the downfall of my students success.
