Flexible seating provides students with a unique approach to learning. This project will help my special education students determine how they learn best. Giving my students flexible seating options will make them shine across all content areas, in a variety of ways.
Flexible seating encourages students to have control over their learning, which increases independence.
Giving students the option to sit in a stool, bean bag chair, balance ball or on the rug, will provide students with the flexibility they need to learn. Flexible seating in my classroom will promote trust and respect, which will help build a positive student-teacher relationship.
