In order to create the literacy-rich environment I desire for my students, the classroom library needs a variety of high interest texts. This includes different genres by a variety authors around a wide-range of topics! Having book baskets in our classroom library empty is a double-edged sword. Great because the books are in students’ hands, yet disappointing for the ones waiting to get those titles next! By building up our library with the choices in this project, we are bound to have more smiles and excitement as students venture into our classroom library to search for their next great read! The books will be flying off the shelves!

About my class
