I will be using the watercolors paints to create engaging projects for my students as we make our way through early US History. Many of my students struggle with on grade level reading and writing, so this is a way for them to use a hands on approach to show the knowledge they have gained from our lessons. I have previously done this type of activity to create reproductions of the White House after it was destroyed by the British in the War of 1812. We created smaller scale stencils to help with the drawing portion and then water colored the background.
