My classroom needs this large square rug. In kindergarten we start each day on the carpet and most lessons begin and center around carpet learning. This rug will give each student adequate room to sit in their own square as they grow throughout the year.
The color squares allow for making groups and seating arrangement easy. They will also feel comfortable having space to move while still staying in their defined space. My current rug is an oval. Their is no defined space so students are forced to squeeze in and sit on marked X's made by me. With this new rug each student will have a safe spot to sit in with enough room.
