A classroom rug is a good resource for educating young minds. Having their own space to learn and create a project through play. My students need a rug for teacher-led whole group and small group instructions. They will also use the rug for puzzles, building with blocks, LEGOs and other manipulatives, working with numbers and letters, playing games and creative play. During teacher led instruction and story time, my students will be able to sit in their own individual space. The rug will also be used for center time such as doing the daily calendar ,math, art, science, language arts, and cooking.
