I am a middle school science teacher who wants to bring more art engagement to our school. This will be the first time I've ever facilitated an arts based club. Over the last few years, I have noticed how many of our at risk youth are engaged in extra curricular activities like sports, gamers club, etc. There is an apparent correlation between students who engage in other non-academic activities on their academic success. There is a population of our students who do not engage in extra curricular activities or clubs (15% of our students, to be exact), and I believe a large portion of them will be students who would enjoy engaging in the arts. Since this will be the first arts club/course at our school in a long time, I have no supplies. Through your donation, I will be able to facilitate art curriculum as an extra curricular activity for our incredible youth.
