My class family is energetic and diverse. In order to foster a unique and open atmosphere in my classroom, we need alternative seating. These seating changes will be used to engage students' minds, as well as aid those suffering from ADHD and sensory processing deficits. Students learn more effectively if they feel they have choice, some control, and a freedom to learn in an environment conducive to their needs. The youth of today are accustomed to a fast-paced technological society, leaving the traditional classroom setting at a disadvantage. New and innovative classroom environments will serve to engage these students as they learn. These alternative seating methods will give them a place to move, get comfortable and free their minds to create and design more effectively!
