A spin disc will provide my students that have Sensory Processing Disorder or Autism with the movement they are craving. It will also help with balance, trunk control and coordination. The fidget toys will help my students calm down and provide them with the sensory integration that they are missing. The tactile beanbags are another way of stimulating the senses of my students who struggle with Autism or Sensory Processing Disorder. They also are light and easy to handle for my students who lack the muscle control to hold on to heavy objects.
Every child wants to play and be successful. These activities will provide my students with the opportunity to learn to play things that they will be able to share with their peers.
