Each year I see the tiny faces of children look up to me to give them the best education I possibly can. Sometimes simple things like a lack of school supplies cause kids to hit a roadblock unless I keep a stack of items in my room ready to give them if they don't have or they cannot replace items throughout the year. They want to perform, they want to give their best, but they need basics like notebooks, pencils, pencil sharpeners, pens, paper, markers for whiteboards, erasers, and countless other things that make their days run smooth. These kids are bright, creative, and sweet! They should never feel worried to come to class to learn because they don't have what they need. More often than not, they start the year with something and cannot replenish as needed every 9 weeks. But there are always some that come with nothing. I can't turn them away and not give them what they need and I would love to have people like you with a giving heart to help me make a difference in their lives. Little things truly go a long way. I see students literally learn how to write three paragraph essays in third grade. Education is a beautiful gift to give. Help me inspire these kids to know that we love them, and nothing little should be a reason to stop them from becoming someone wonderful!
