As you know, most school districts have chosen to start their school years virtually. As I prepare myself to teach virtually, I think about some of the challenges I had when we left our classrooms in March and how I would like to make changes moving forward. One of the challenges I faced was not having picture books at hand to read to my students.
Reading is one of my favorite parts of the day and I often found myself searching YouTube and finding other teachers reading books that I would play for my class. It is important for me to be able to read to my students and build that relationship and love of reading with them.
