My project is simple. I need headphones for my students. The children use headphones every day as they challenge themselves in math. We have a mathematics site that helps students at their just right level! The students work on math problems in a fun, interactive way. This interactive site is full of color, sound and math manipulatives. The students are able to work on mathematical problems using the base 10 system.
Being able to differentiate mathematics for each unique child is quite a task. Using this technology in the classroom allows each child a fun, game-like mathematical opportunity. Due to the game-like nature, headphones are a must. Students are able to work on mathematical standards while having fun!
The other part of my project deals with water colors. I love adding art into the classroom as often as possible. It is amazing what a great art project can do for such young minds!
