Next year, I will be teaching 5th grade Language Arts along with Social Studies, so I need to have a classroom library with a variety of books to help my students find books to love, enhance their reading skills and help me create inspiring lessons using the books as mentor texts. I will also need books that connect our two subjects, Language Arts and Social Studies, to help my students fully experience the connection of what they learn in the classroom with the real world. The bigger variety of books I can provide, the better chance I have to reach all of my students!
