Teaching kids in a way that they understand has always been a problem. This new generation is geared to computers and technology, which sadly isn't as available to schools as it should be. Although textbooks do a good job of teaching them, there needs to be something more that makes them excited about learning and more likely to remember what they are learning.
When I discovered Raspberry Pi, I knew I had found a goldmine!
Technology is the way to reach them, however, it can sometimes be hard to find the perfect form of technology that balances fun and learning. With Raspberry Pi, there are so many different things they can do and so many different ways for the kids to learn. They have many different capabilities, but coding is the one that I think would benefit my students the most.
Of course they can't use it without regular computer peripherals, so we would need those as well.
