Organization is at the heart of my project. The 3 different colored folders will help my students keep their reading and writing organized. The notebooks will serve as dialogue journals which will be used by my students to record their thoughts about what they are reading and also serve as a space for me to give specific feedback.
The dry erase materials and the magnetic letters/paper will serve many purposes. They will be used by my students during both whole group and small group time. Some students who are still struggling with letter sounds and basic phonic patterns will be using them to help facilitate their growth.
The glue sticks are another tool we will use in their reading journals. We will use be using graphic organizers that will help make the journals interactive.
