I truly believe the materials I have lovingly chosen for my classroom will help create a safe and nurturing atmosphere for my students! I am so grateful to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.org for the amazing opportunity to provide the materials and supplies so urgently needed for my classroom. Even though many of our students are from low-income homes and may have special needs, I believe all students should have the opportunity to learn and grow with the inspiration and guidance which will foster a love for life-long learning.
I'm sure the children will love the comforting colors and animal patterns in the Animals Among US carpet. I chose this carpet because it beautifully displays nature through forest animal pictures. The children will use this comfy carpet throughout the day during morning inspiration, independent reading time, and to "hang-out" quietly. I thought how my students would be inspired to read-even for a little bit longer, while sitting on their Cozy Flower floor pillows too!
Our school is implementing a new Science curriculum this year. It would be a wonderful way to encourage STEM, create a love of nature, learn about evolving habitats and inspire an overall excitement in learning through the daily use of these materials! One could Just imagine the infinite building creations only Legos could provide! I know it would be awesome for the children to learn about the delicate and wondrous growth cycle of plants as they develop a stunningly beautiful terrarium project!
