These materials will make a huge difference in my students' learning. Each child learns in a different way. It is not about sitting in a desk and chair anymore. Today's learning is all about using stability balls, active chairs, and inflatable chairs so that students can learn in their best way possible. By allowing students to get up and move into preferred seating, it empowers students to have a voice in their learning, allows them to communicate and collaborate with their fellow classmates, stimulates their sensory input, and it's FUN! Flexible seating encourages students to share with one another and creates a strong classroom community based off of choice.
