The materials I chose for my project will help students in their everyday learning. Calculators are an essential tool my students need in order to be successful in the classroom. Students entering into the 6th grade are allowed to use calculators. Therefore, calculators are new to students and many do not have one of their own.
The materials I chose, especially the dry erase markers, will allow my students to solve problems in a fun way rather than using original paper and pencils. I chose pencils because I want to make sure a pencil is the last thing my students will have to worry or stress about when entering into my classroom.
