Our students are in an alternative school setting which is separate from their home schools and their regular classrooms, however, it is important that they learn the same material and develop the same skills on the same timetable as those students who are physically in the classroom. Having laptops would mean greater student access to activities which increase direct interaction with their regular classes and teachers. This connectivity will help to ensure students are able to step back into their classes after completing their alternative school program confident that, not only have they not fallen behind, but, they have also improved their academic abilities and strengthened their ability to graduate.
