I intend to utilize the requested math materials in a homework club to be offered after school. All materials will reinforce skills taught during the school day. Based on benchmark assessments, these students need support in the common core standards of Number and Operations and Fractions. Students need individualized/small group learning opportunities. These materials will offer extra support and extension activities to improve their math literacy. Furthermore, students will be supported by homework and project-based activities that cannot be done during normal school hours. Parents have been requesting extra support for their children and this would just the help they need.

About my class
