As an SLP, I work with students who have different needs within one small group. Students love when they get to use the iPad and are motivated to work on their goals and try their best. Access to technology is beneficial because it can be used in a variety of ways and requires minimal preparation time. Students are able to compare and contrast using real pictures that they choose, watch a video and learn how to ask a friend to play, work on producing the /s/ sound in silly sentences or practice following directions. An iPad will provide a motivating and easy way to address a variety of goals for my students with diverse needs. Donations to this project will provide my students with daily opportunities to improve their speech and language skills.
