My school is one that is very in need of support. Many of my students come from very under privileged homes with families that struggle to get by. Our small upstate town lacks a lot of experiences for my students, which my wonderful fellow teachers and I try to make up for at school. We have a very diverse group of little ones, as we are located near many prisons, reservations, and Amish villages. We embrace their differences and encourage every child to be proud of their unique individual qualities, but also try to come together to help build our community. It is my privilege to help inspire these children to grow up as lifelong learners!
