The Legos in the above project will be used for a variety of different topics. The students will use the simple machine set of Legos to help with their understanding of simple machines and have the opportunity to construct them from scratch. The other set of Legos will be used in part for them to participate in a variety of STEAM projects. Also, in the third grade in Virginia, we cover ancient cultures so the Legos will be used for my students to try and recreate the architecture. The students will also use the Legos as manipulatives.
