As an educator of a school where 100% of our students have a reduced or free lunch, it is of no surprise that a lot of our students come to school unprepared. The pens, pencils, and notebooks will give students an avenue to not only be successful, but to also have confidence that they will always have the needed support to prevail. Overcoming adversity is not a feat that one can do alone. These supplies will help greatly. When a student comes to class without supplies, sometimes they become a distraction. Having pencils and notebooks for my students will be amazing. Also, I would like to be able to reward my students for all of their hard work and zealousness to becoming stronger scholars. One way I would like to do that is through raffles. I would like to use the raffle tickets to reward my class for achievements and breaking barriers.
