There are so many technological innovations available for a classroom, my goal with the iPad Pro is to use these innovations to enhance my students' education.
There are a variety of uses for an iPad Pro in a classroom, especially one that already has technology integration.
-Nearpods: Think "boring powerpoint", but actually interesting and interactive. The teacher can control the slides, observe student usage, quiz students, show videos, allow students to enter a virtual fieldtrip, and so many more academically beneficial activities.
-Paperless classroom: digital assignment submissions with easy to view feedback right on the paper (which means no random text boxes blocking the student content)
-Whiteboard notes: write notes on the whiteboard from anywhere in the classroom.
-Student digital portfolios/parent communication: Using an app such as Bloomz, I can allow parents to see their student's work, real-time classroom behavior (positive and struggles), send newsletters and messages between parents.
-Socrative: an online way to assess students in a streamlined and easy to use way.
There are many more uses that will be implemented throughout the year. Just like with other technology, this will be a constantly evolving and growing tool in the classroom.
