I am lucky enough to have iPads for each student in my class. We use these iPads almost daily for different lessons in math, ELA, social studies, and science. The students love using their iPads because it is something they are familiar with and can navigate easily. It also makes learning more engaging.
The iPads are a great way to individualize work for each students. Most of the Apps and websites that we use allow me to individualize the work based on what the student needs to work on. Not every student is at the same spot in their learning, so being able to individualize work so easily has been very beneficial.
In order to use our iPads though we need headphones. The headphones that I have found are child friendly. They are over the ear headphones which will help them fit better on my students. They also have sound limitations. These limitations mean that students can not turn the volume up extremely loud which will help protect their hearing.
