My students enjoy researching historical times and events and using technology to create projects to share with the class. We’ve started simple with Google slides using our new classroom chrome books last January and added Weebly, websites, Adobe Spark and iMovies as the year went on.
We found it hard to record voice in a busy classroom and hear playback. My hopes are to purchase 6 headsets that are student friendly and compatible with chrome books that student can share when they want to add voice recordings to their history projects.
Last year we attempted to create projects for National History Day but had so many technical blocks within our school setting that we didn’t take any to contest. This year I hope we have learned from our problems and found some work arounds that might allow us to take a few students or groups there this year. Headphones would help us in attaining that goal.
