Our elementary school has a community bookshelf set up by the main office and in two locations throughout the school. My mission is to allow our students to trade books in and out from the bookshelves as often as they would like. Additionally, we want to create an atmosphere within our school that promotes families reading together. We currently have families who donate books when possible; however, many of our families do not have the resources to donate books. Therefore, we need books to get our community library started. In addition, we need a rolling book cart so that we can roll books to the carpool line in the morning and afternoon to make it convenient for families. Please help our students have a book to call their own by helping us build our community library!
