This year we are getting a curriculum that is very student centered. Part of the emphasis in this curriculum is to have students show their work. There are specific opportunities for students who have solved a problem in multiple different ways. I am asking for an Elmo. An Elmo will allow me to show a students work and project it for the entire class to see. I think students will be proud to show what they were able to do and explain it to their peers. I also think this opens a great opportunity to talk through the Math and about Math.
