During both Language Arts and Math centers, I would be using these materials to make learning more intriguing and hands on.
Kindergarteners need hands on learning and using a light table will make it a lot more interesting.
While using these materials students will work on building sight words, manipulating words into new words, practice identifying letters, numbers, and shapes. As well as practicing counting, sorting, and problem solving. Not only would they get to use these manipulatives, but others that we have in our room as well. The light table would be a great addition to our classroom.
