I plan on reading impactful books each of the 180 days we are in school. Books that make children think about themselves and others. Books that make students feel excited and become inquisitive. Books that change them into leaders, thinkers, explorers, and helpers.
Help me make a difference in children's lives through books. Allow me to build my classroom library to incorporate a variety of books that allow children to grow and fall in love with reading. These books will be mirrors-allowing them to see themselves, and their families, in the diverse texts. These books will be windows-allowing students a glimpse into a world they have not yet experienced.
