Little ones spend a lot of time on screens these days. I want my students to be outside, in nature, and explore there.
We are creating an Outdoor Classroom. I was given a grant for a fence, a mud kitchen, a table, and storage. We are putting together materials for the mud kitchen. We're also putting out bins of various materials for the kids to examine. And we have acrylic easels for the children to paint. We're going to have a small bridge, balancing logs, and fabric for weaving in the cyclone fence. We'll have visiting animals, and we'll have rotating art projects for an outdoor museum.
We're going to explore the trees, the grass, the bugs, the plants, the sky!
But we need to be able to really examine and see all of nature around us. With your generosity, we can purchase binoculars and large, unbreakable magnifying glasses. Thank you for helping special kids see their whole world!
