I need a lot of help getting the materials necessary to execute fun, exploratory lessons to my district's Gifted students. The fun part is that I actually get to teach these amazing students topics they love, encourage their love for learning, and am expected to expand their minds into the arts, literature, and STEM projects.
I could use some help with basic classroom supplies; I have a maximum of 500 copies per month (with 60 students and no textbooks or workbooks!) I ran out of my quota in August about halfway through the month and used my own money to supply copies for the remainder of the month. I cannot keep this up for the entire year. I have looked into ways to consolidate and minimize the amount of copies made, but, at the end of the day, I do need to show student work and growth, hence...copies!
The students love art projects and just having access to art supplies. I will be starting a unit on Music and Art in a few weeks and would like to have the necessary supplies on hand for their creative little minds to get to work when we begin!
