Calhan School has about 450 kids throughout Elementary, Middle, and High School. I teach K-12 General Music, Rock Band, and Concert Band. I see every single student in 5th grade when they are required to take band, so my 5th grade classes average about 50 kids. My job as the new band director of Calhan is to build the program back up to something the students can be proud of and give the students the support they need through music.

About my class
