It is so important in an early childhood classroom to provide each student with many opportunities to build fine motor skills and strengthen their muscles.
Fine Motor control helps children explore the world around them and also helps with their cognitive development. These skills are developed and strengthened in the Pre-K classroom through activities like beading, grasping and building with small items and using tongs to move items.
The materials requested in this project also reinforce crucial literacy and math skills. My students will "play" and learn and be engaged with these fun, colorful learning stations!
