Would you want to listen to a song with no bass? The bass metallophone is the bass of the music in my classroom. Without it, we are so limited.
By donating to this project, you are equipping over five hundred K-6 students with an essential, accessible instrument. My students love to play instruments! With only one bass xylophone currently in the classroom, it is difficult to make a balanced and musical sound when an entire class plays instruments. It's like having one tuba against 30 flutes!
A bass metallophone would cut through the sound and allow us to have a solid bass foundation for our music-making.
