Pencils and paper are a vital part of the math lesson daily! Without them, no work can be done! Elmer’s glue sticks are used to create our interactive journals that students take notes in and reference when it’s time to complete independent work. The Expo markers are needed for centers and small group activities, core instruction to increase engagement through active listening, and writing important memos on the board. Every teacher’s number one grading tool: FLAIR PENS! The students love the colors just as much as we love using them! We know how many germs are passed along with children in my age group and the sanitizer, wipes, and soap will help us to limit the amount of sick days between the students and myself as well! All of the materials will make a difference in our classroom because they will be readily available when needed. Many parents in my room are unable to provide items requested on supply lists at the beginning of the year and this will lift a burden off their parents.
