These books will help my struggling and ESL students. Everyone of my students need a chance to develop a love for reading. By listening and reading along with the books, they will develop vocabulary and comprehension skills. They will also be able to understand the story elements because they are not struggling with decoding the words. This will be an independent activity. Therefore, my readers will be able to listen to the story again as needed. I believe these books will nurture a love for reading. They will be used in our listening center each day. This will be an invaluable tool for the students. I know they will produce positive results.
