My students are in need of STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Math materials. STEM is the core subjects that give kids the building blocks for future success in fields like robotics, computers and natural sciences. With STEM toys, all kids have to do to shape tomorrow is play. The focus in early childhood is on the whole child and learning happens because of the hands-on learning from following the childrens’ interest and engagement of activities to construct their individual knowledge capabilities. Children in the early years develop long-term habits of learning. By donating to our project you will allow my students opportunities to play with learning-full toys which includes—open-ended games, kits and high interest hands-on materials that would promote/encourage creativity, exploration and an attainment of a deeper understanding of developmentally appropriate rules, patterns, logic and how things work as the interaction of the materials begin. From these materials interactions the childs’ lifelong critical skills/thinking, problem solving and logical steps to take on a more spontaneous reaction, thus the child will find an age appropriate successful conclusion.
