In order for my students to transfer their CAD drawings and other resource ideas to their engineering notebooks, they need access to a printer. Right now my students can create their CAD drawings on the computer but they have no way to print them to put in their notebooks for documentation and reference. They also like to print out inspiration pictures, graphs, charts and many other things to put in their notebooks.
Engineers are problem solvers. Every good problem solver documents everything, including mistakes. Engineers also need to be efficient with their use of time, and having a printer accessible to students would make this a reality for them.
