The Chromebooks will replace our current outdated desktop computers. Students will use the Chromebooks to take Accelerated Reader quizzes, and they can be used for Accelerated Math and Accelerated Reader lessons as well. They can be used for quarterly STAR testing, and they can be borrowed by classroom teachers if needed. Students may use the Chromebooks for research projects, writing and publishing activities, and technology projects. Chromebooks will also be used for weekly library skills lessons, and regular lessons on digital citizenship and internet safety. These portable Chromebooks will be used at current library tables, so a large amount of library space will now be available to be used for Makerspace projects and materials. The Chromebooks will be available for Makerspace projects and activities as well.
