Our classroom library is not much of a library. The books on the shelves are not in the greatest condition. Currently, we do not have a class set of novels. Adding The Pact to our class library would be the beginning of excellent learning opportunities for our students. This class set will allow each of my English Language Arts students to have a book in their hands. The more my students are surrounded by books, the more they will want to read. I want to share the story of the three doctors in The Pact with my students. I know that they will enjoy the story of the young men in this story. My students will gain knowledge and also be given the opportunity to relate this story to their everyday lives. This story will hopefully inspire my students to work hard through their trials and to never give up!
