Children need to have a stimulating classroom filled with anchor charts, motivational sayings, personalized ownerships and goals, and feeling part of a positive environment. I am wanting to give this to my classroom by creating it.
I want to fill my students with as much positive encouragement as possible. I want to reach my students through having anchor charts that demonstrate what concept that we were focusing on at the moment. I also want to include things that show their growth in the class, personalized items to boost their confidences, awards, signs to motivate during testing and encourage family involvement.
Being at a low-socioeconomic school, this may be the only part of my students' lives that they have this uplifting environment.
