This carpet will be a central hub in our classroom for meeting and learning throughout the year. Each day, students will meet to learn math, language arts, social studies, and about each other. We will laugh, work hard, and push each other in our classroom to make each other better learners, readers, writers, and mathematicians! We will do sharing circles, get to know each other, and become a family on this carpet. Students will have a cozy spot to read, and we will have a place to do our daily number corner routine, where we look at number patterns and reinforce skills we are learning. Overall, this carpet will be the heart of our classroom.
